Michel Houellebecq is publishing a new book May 24 with French publisher Flammarion in which he describes the period from October 2022 to March 2023. This period also featured the KIRAC porn film affair. The title of the 112-page book is A few months in my life (‘Quelques mois dans ma vie‘), reports LePoint.
The title refers to the months leading up to the charge by the Grand Mosque of Paris against Houellebecq for inciting hatred against Muslims and to the losing his lawsuit on March 28 in which the Dutch court rejected his request to ban the pornographic film Kirac 27 the pornographic film.
“For the first time in my life I felt treated as the object of an animal documentary; it’s hard to forget that moment,” Houellebecq said.
In the book, written in the I form, Houellebecq explains that the original KIRAC film project was limited to “a trio-sex scene meant to feed Jini’s OnlyFans account.”
