Thursday night was another incident in Ter Apel when a Tunisian asylum seeker in the middle of the shopping center showed his pecker to a 12-year-old girl and a group of asylum seekers (young people from safe countries) tried to steal food from the Jumbo.

‘Asylum seekers lynched’

Visscher warned a day later that “it is a matter of time before asylum seekers are lynched.”

In De Volkskrant he warned of this again on Tuesday:

“Villagers who have organized themselves into a vigilante group saw it happen Thursday night and obviously did not react very gently to it. No blows were struck, but violent it was. In the end, four units of police and military police had to be involved. Such an event naturally impresses the young people who work in the supermarket.

Store owners have difficulty retaining employees because they no longer feel safe. Villagers are intimidated, spat on. Everyone is all over the place. As a result, the fuse is also getting shorter. As a result, the asylum seekers are now also in danger. I really fear that this is getting out of hand. Sooner or later there will be victims.”

“Last week a man with a dark skin color walked through the village with a boat outboard motor. He must have stolen it, is the reflex. Everyone was in an uproar. The man turned out to be a status holder living in the village. “I don’t feel safe anymore either,” he told me. And all because the nuisance just won’t be addressed.”Safe people

.
According to Visscher, it is mainly a problem of the relatively large number of safe-landers who are taken in at Ter Apel, “the only place you can apply in the Netherlands.”
